Overview

Cirque is a revolutionary social platform that puts your local community first. It combines beautiful, distraction-free design with location-aware content to create meaningful connections in your area. Cirque is designed to make it easy to share your work, promote events, grow your business, or discover and engage with what’s happening near you. Cirque wants you to use the app as a means to expand your local connections and engage with it, not escape from it.

What sets Cirque apart is its unique approach to content: ephemeral posts that stay relevant through engagement, location-based filtering that lets you focus on your community, and a clean, visual-first interface that makes every interaction feel special. It's social media reimagined for creative people who value authentic local connections over global noise.

A Visual-First Experience

Cirque is designed to be clean, beautiful, and distraction-free. The entire interface is built around clarity and simplicity, letting the content shine.

Posts in the feed appear in circular frames to echo the core idea of a portal. This framing sets Cirque apart from traditional boxy layouts.

Posts & Content

Cirque content is organized into three types: Drops, Gigs, and Spots.

Drops are ephemeral posts meant to capture a moment or visual message. Open to everyone but ideal for artists, architects, designers, musicians and other creators / idea generators. Drops expire after 7 days unless kept alive through engagement (likes, comments, or shares).

Gigs are time-bound announcements, perfect for events, shows, or gatherings. They automatically expire once the event has passed. Stay up to date on all the most recent events in your area.

Spots are business or promo posts with paid lifespans. They're ideal for retail, restaurants, services, or special deals. Learn more about your local businesses here.

Filter the Feed to Your Location

Perhaps the most defining feature of Cirque. Cirque is designed to give you the ability to prioritize local connections and screen out the global noise. Posts can still be seen globally if you choose or filtered to be purely local as defined by you- from a 1-50 mile radius.
