About Cirque

Cirque is a new social platform that combines beautiful, distraction-free design with location-aware content to help you connect—both globally and within your community. Whether you're sharing your work, promoting an event, growing a business, or simply exploring what’s happening nearby, Cirque makes it easy to engage with your surroundings instead of escaping from them.

What sets Cirque apart is its unique approach to content: ephemeral posts that stay alive through engagement, location-based filtering that puts your community first, and a visual-first interface that elevates every post. It’s social media reimagined for creative people who value authentic, local connections and crave a cleaner, more meaningful experience.

A Visual-First Experience

Cirque is designed to be clean, minimal, and focused. The interface emphasizes clarity, allowing your content to stand out without distractions.

Posts appear in circular frames—a nod to the idea of portals—shown one at a time with minimal text to encourage focus and presence.

Posts & Content Types

Cirque organizes posts into three unique types: Drops, Gigs, and Spots.

Drops are short-lived, visual-first posts ideal for creators—artists, designers, musicians, architects, and anyone sharing a work in progress or moment. Drops expire after 7 days unless extended by likes, comments, or shares.

Gigs are time- and location-specific posts meant for events, performances, and gatherings. They expire automatically once the event ends, helping the feed stay current.

Spots are posts that allow for longer media and more extensive descriptions, perfect for businesses or detailed promotions. They remain live as long as you choose.

Filter the Feed by Location

One of Cirque’s most powerful features is the ability to filter posts by location—from a 1 to 50 mile radius. Whether you're interested in your immediate neighborhood or a wider regional view, Cirque helps you focus on what matters nearby while still allowing access to global content when you want it.
