This Privacy Policy explains how Cirque Media LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Cirque Mobile application. By using Cirque Mobile, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

Cirque Mobile is a location-based social media application operated by Cirque Media LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Cirque Mobile is distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

2. What We Collect

Personal Information:

• Email address (via Firebase Authentication)
• Username (required)
• Full name (optional)
• Profile photo (optional)
• User bio (optional)

Content:

• Images and videos you upload
• Text captions or descriptions
• Comments, likes, and shares

Location:

• Your device’s approximate location (if permission is granted)

Usage Data:

• App activity (posts, likes, shares, follows, mutes, blocks)
• Device info (model, OS version, crash logs)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Enable core features (posting, viewing, following, local filtering)
• Display content relevant to your geographic location
• Manage your account and profile
• Moderate content and respond to user reports
• Support social features such as following, blocking, and muting
• Analyze trends to improve app quality and performance

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

4. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you upload to Cirque Mobile. By uploading content, you confirm that you have the legal right to share it and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

5. Content Expiration & Storage

• Drops: Auto-delete after 7 days unless extended by engagement
• Gigs: Expire after the event date
• Spots: Stored only for the paid duration

Data is stored securely with Firebase Storage and Firestore. Deleted content may be temporarily retained in backups for moderation or technical integrity. We retain your personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations.

6. Payment Information

We do not collect or store any payment or billing information. All purchases made within the app are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective privacy policies.

7. Location Data

Cirque Mobile uses approximate GIS coordinates (fuzzed to ~1/4 mile) for filtering posts by location. This coordinate is not tied to your user account and is never shared publicly.

Users control the visibility radius (1 to 50 miles). Location access is optional but core to app functionality.

8. User Interactions

• Follow: prioritize user content
• Mute: hide content silently
• Block: prevent interaction

These tools are private and configurable at any time.

9. User Rights

• View, edit, or delete your profile
• Delete posts anytime
• Request full account deletion via app or email

10. Sharing Data

We only share your data with:

• Firebase (Google) for backend infrastructure
• Moderators for content flagged for review
• Authorities if legally required

We do not share your data with advertisers or analytics firms.

11. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We may use tools such as Firebase Crashlytics to analyze app crashes and performance trends. These tools may collect anonymized device data to help improve the app's reliability.

12. Cross-Border Data Transfer

By using the Service, you consent to your information being stored and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our partners operate. Your data may be subject to local laws.

13. Legal Basis for Processing

Our legal basis for collecting and processing personal information includes your consent, our contractual obligation to provide the Service, and our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving platform safety and performance.

14. Age Policy

Cirque Mobile is for users 18+. Accounts created by minors will be removed. If discovered, associated data will be deleted.

15. Security

We rely on Google Cloud and Firebase’s built-in security. However, no system is perfectly secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. Updates will appear in-app or on our website. Continued use implies acceptance.
